We are able to arrange dining and entertainment options to complement your event, whether it’s a cold finger buffet or a formal seated dinner, liaising with caterers and suppliers where necessary. The Leaping Trout regularly hosts events, live bands and entertainment of all kinds, ensuring that, where required, guests can unwind and enjoy the social side of business!

We have a downstairs double bedroom with a wet room suitable for wheelchair users.

From the impressive main bar area to the retro cinema or outside in our landscaped gardens , The Leaping Trout allows all guests to circulate freely between the various areas of our venue. In warm weather all doors lead to the beauty outside whereas historic open fire places will keep your guests warm as toast in the colder months. They can also amuse themselves in our games area with Pool table snooker, table tennis and Air Hockey. We have a wide range of quizzes and board games. There is a public recreation ground to play football and rounders etc behind the property which can be accessed via a private gate in our rear courtyard.
