What can I say!

A group of 26 of us aged 27-67 had the most incredible weekend here for my 30th Birthday. The pictures look amazing but the actual house is even better. Firstly, it's huge! I wanted somewhere where everyone had plenty of space and could sneak off for some quieter time if needed and this place is perfect.

The Bar area is just great, plenty of room for drinks and well stocked with glasses etc, and it's lovely and warm. Feeding 26 people for a weekend was a lot of work but with the multiple kitchens and plenty of cooking supplies it worked out.

If you wanted to find somewhere that is equal parts cosy pub, party house, relaxing getaway and a great place to make memories I honestly couldn't recommend somewhere better. Brian was so helpful with showing me around the house to get us settled in and was only a call away if we needed anything, we didn't end up calling as everything is so well set up.  I've recommended this house to everyone (although I was tempted to keep it secret!) and I'm positive we'll be back in the future.

Wow what a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay the The Leaping Trout. We were initially worried that we all could be a bit on top of each other, but everyone had so much space and I could keep the louder guests away from the others! I think we're all used to rentals being made to look bigger on pictures – but in this case it was the opposite. Room for privacy huge bedrooms and loads of space to enjoy both inside & out.

I want to say a big thank you for our really memorable weekend. The venue was stunning and perfect for our needs, and everything has been refurbished to such a high quality! We had a really incredible time and hope to visit The Trout again one day!

We had a large family reunion at The Leaping Trout over the Coronation weekend. What a fabulous setting!! Plenty of rooms, the added addition of a hot tub, all in a stunning location and with lots of parking. Brian was a great host, nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

It was absolutely amazing. Spent the day in the hot tub,it has a pool room even a cinema room , our daughter loved it ,the garden is huge and so pretty

So much room ideal for groups family gatherings , weddings such a beautiful place of Devon to visit Highly recommend 5* all the way thank you
