With its beautiful rustic ambiance, stunning countryside, and tranquil river views, it provides an idyllic venue for couples to celebrate their love.
The venue's dedicated team ensures that every detail of your special day is meticulously planned, from exquisite décor to delectable catering options. Whether you dream of an intimate gathering or a grand affair, The Leaping Trout can accommodate up to 85 guests with its versatile event spaces. From the romantic riverside ceremony under the open sky to the lively reception in the bar and dance floor area (complete with a sound system and sound-to-light system), your wedding or wedding reception at The Leaping Trout promises to be an unforgettable experience filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.
The Leaping Trout is fully licensed for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. If you are looking to say "I do" by the river or in our charming 16th-century venue, we provide the perfect setting for couples to celebrate their vows.
From £1500, you can be married in our river frontage or outdoor gardens and then use our 16th-century beamed dining room, lounges, bar, and dance floor for your wedding reception and party afterwards.
From £3000: Includes the venue and our 12 beamed, ensuite bedrooms to accommodate up to 32 guests for one night (October to March weekends, April to October midweek).
From £5000: Includes the venue and our 12 beamed, ensuite bedrooms to accommodate up to 32 guests for two nights (available year-round).
From £6000: Includes tables, chairs, and a full table setup for a wedding ceremony and breakfast for up to 50 people.

They know our venue very well and can cater in-house using our three fully equipped kitchens. Some couples prefer to cater for themselves, which helps keep costs down.
