Dine in the festoon-lit courtyard, or relax in the six-person hot tub with massage jets in the private decked area. Play rounders, croquet and Giant Chess on the lawn. Let the dogs loose in the large garden areas.

Enjoy cooking a BBQ in the outdoor Kitchen which also has an "Egg" charcoal pizza oven.

By the river, you will find sun loungers to sit on the sun deck above the rumbling water or dine on the table with umbrella and teak chairs. Kids can run around and play football or Badminton. Fish for trout. Wild-swim in the river. Live a life of sweet serenity on an English riverbank

We've re-furbished the original bar area so you can enjoy the quirk of serving yourselves drinks or we can provide a bar tender / sommelier / mixologist

  • I want to say a big thank you for our really memorable weekend. The venue was stunning and perfect for our needs, and everything has been refurbished to such a high quality! We had a really incredible time and hope to visit The Trout again one day!

  • We had a large family reunion at The Leaping Trout over the Coronation weekend. What a fabulous setting!! Plenty of rooms, the added addition of a hot tub, all in a stunning location and with lots of parking. Brian was a great host, nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

    It was absolutely amazing. Spent the day in the hot tub,it has a pool room even a cinema room , our daughter loved it ,the garden is huge and so pretty
